A Spring Day

Spring encapsulates all the things I dream of; Flowers in bloom, what a heavenly sight while being lulled by fresh rain that I love. Breathing in sweet scents from morning ‘till night elevates and inspires my soul to take flight. Spring shares enchanted birth with the earth, while butterflies flit from flower to flower. Accomplice to this season’s musical mirth, bird songs echo from bower to bower as the glorious sun rises hour by hour. All hues amaze against a myriad of green. Daffodils and tulips rise from their sheltered sleep. A time to be thankful for this peaceful scene for rebirth in abundance my faith runs deep, to all of God’s blessings each one of us reap. This took me to the early morning just before sunrise when the birds have beaten us to the punch. Their joyful songs high in the trees celebrate the joy of springtime for God's little creations. I love your choice of flowers (which are fairly independent of mankind) to illustrate your quintain. From smells, to sounds, to sights, a well-organized tribute to Spring. Congratulations

Dear Connie, I was wondering what spring is like in Hawaii. It seems to be much the same as in the continental states. Your descriptions of the birds, flowers and sense of "rebirth" are awesome. Congratulations! Love, Carolyn

It is very much like Florida, but not quite as humid because of our lovely tradewinds. You can swim in the ocean in January, which is why tourists come from the cold to have fun and bask in our sun. Mahalo for your lovely comment.
