A Soldiers Way

A Soldiers Way I have hope in my eyes That the ground will not tremble I have faith in my heart That the man on my right, will always be the man on my right I have love in my soul That the brothers we fight will remember what peace is I have trust in those around me That their skills will protect us all I have strength in my hands That the work we do will be true and right I have justice in the footsteps I take That every footfall will take me one step closer to home...

Amazing, you elicit a millenial optimism. You see the inevitable reconciliation with your enemies even before you fight them. Will the lion and lamb lie down together, or is it a panacea. Reguardless of what I may think, keep expounding your eternal optimism.

Hi Karen. This really moved me You have captured what must go through the minds and be felt in the hearts of many who fight in a war.I am near to tears reading your words because they hold no anger just unconditional love, which must be in your own heart also. This is so beautiful.I want to say thank you to you for sharing it.These are very poignant words and should be read and their sentiments valued as a lesson to all.I wish you Love June(S)
