A Seed of Hope
For the sake of Humanity, who walks on thin rope,
I give up any pleasure and neglect every need...
along this sunny path I must plant a seed
of hope; isn't this the only reason I grope:
to live and leave deep, memorable footprints
than no rain can wash away in minutes?
I came across some wonderful friends
who vowed me with their inspiring words;
their craft I learned and got rewards:
a trophy received from Laura Mckenzie
excited me and sent me into an indescribable frenzy...
it still stands on my desk as an heirloom of victory!
No dreamer's journey has been like mine,
dreaming up a concept and achieve it in a limited time;
I struggled, but courage didn't dimmer:
exposing controversial thoughts meant not to offend...
some liked them, others despised them!
Although my quest for poetry turned into an obsession: I started losing hair,
sleep and hunger for food: it became the very air I breathed;
will anybody come to my grave, read my epitaph and not be afraid?
