A Rose For Winter

I became a rose for winter Blooming below a midnight sky All year long my body has strived Who shall care for me If I were to die Curled up My leaves fold and cower Embracing the life left within Feebly I watch the sun Out it comes Without reply I become A rose for winter Tread carefully the path Don't kill a rose Before it has the grace to die..
