A Poem Formula Every Poet Should Read

I was lying in bed Trying to sleep late one night A small spark, Nagging & prodding In the back corner of my mind Slowly forming into more Then a solid idea strikes a cord right then Taking shape & quickly growing With each minute that passes me by Not leaving Until I have it written down Quickly reaching to grab a pen & notepad smoke rising steadily From the sheet Inspiration has struck Giving birth to a poem ~I'm sure every poet has had an experience just like this one :) And ironically that is exactly how that poem came into existence.
