A Painted Muse
The lonely willows weep,
Streaming a river of tears.
Under the Giverny skies,
The water lilies dance,
Atop the glossy surface.
Reflections of peace,
For the creator.
The Japanese bridge arches,
Posing as a lonely muse
For the gifted soul of Claude Monet.
