A May Memory
May memories from childhood days,
Mother's Day flowers on display,
a bead necklace made from the heart,
a glittered handmade work of art
with a gifted perfume sachet.
A daughter's love in a bouquet,
pink roses and a sweet array
of lilies with hugs to impart,
May memories.
Thoughts of yesteryear far away
brought to my memory today.
The lovely scent of roses start
nostalgic feelings in my heart
wafting from a pink rose bouquet,
May memories.
