Poor Barbara was up most of the night
A limerick she was trying to write
Wrote more than eleven
They stunk to high heaven
By morning she still hadn't seen the light

this is REALLY quite good. Even the last line has a funny meaning. It's morning and she still can't see the light. I would have given this one a first place probably!! Congrats for your win.

Ha ha, sorry, should I be laughing? The poem is definitely funny but I do sympathize with the writer. And it definitely turned out to be a great Limerick. Nice work Barbara!
