A Leprechaun's Treasure

Thousands of years ago, the Irish had gained a ton of gold from all the mining they did. Everyday, they would gain more and more gold, putting them in large buckets. The Irish leprechauns worked very hard to get all this gold. It was their golden treasure, their happiness, and their biggest prize. These leprechauns had a process to get this gold. The strongest ones would go and mine for the gold. Meanwhile, the others would stay and guard the gold with all of their power, even though they were so little.
One day, the Vikings came through and saw all of this gold that these little leprechauns were getting. The mean Vikings wanted this treasure, because they realized the tiny leprechauns had more than them. They were gonna make a plan to go and steal this when the leprechauns were off guard. The Vikings knew this was a wrong thing to do, but they didn’t care. On a dark, breezy night, the Vikings snuck to the spot where all the gold was. They filled up their bags with the treasure and ran as fast as they could so they wouldn’t not get caught.
The next morning, the leprechauns woke up and realized most of their treasure was gone. They panicked, yelling and screaming at eachother. As they were all blaming each other at once, the smartest Leprechaun, Lucky, realized they needed a new spot for their gold. Lucky had an idea of creating a very colorful place. He called this place a rainbow. Nobody believed in him. He was going to create this place on his own. There was a huge storm coming through that night, and the leprechauns took the day off from getting their treasure. Lucky knew this was the perfect time to work on this. He took buckets of paint, throwing it up in the sky. He had his strongest friend, Allingham, lift him up on his shoulders so he could to form a half of a circle through the air. The rain finally stopped and the paint dried.
All of the leprechauns gathered around and saw this masterpiece made by Lucky. They were all so impressed. They then gathered their treasure and put all of it at the end of the rainbow. It was the perfect place for this treasure. The vikings thought their scheme before was funny, so they were gonna go back with their bags to fill them up more, but the gold was at its new destination now. The tricky leprechauns knew it was coming this time, so they went to the Vikings place was and took their treasure back. During the day, the rainbow would go away so the Vikings couldn’t find the treasure anymore. It would come back again right after it rained so they could store more of their gold. Thanks to Lucky, the tricky leprechauns had a new place to store their gold and the Vikings could never steal the treasure again.
