A Few Minutes

Out on the porch in freezing cold Listening to the birds sing See them sit with feathers fluffed up Enduring what cold brings "Spring, spring", they sing, "soon will be here". I can't believe their song The roosters sing back, "cock-a-doodle-do". Their voices are so strong Boredom flew right up in the clouds It enjoys the swift ride The cold north wind blows, rustles leaves Imagination glides

I wish the birds round here were calling that spring was almost here. This morning the Magpie at my window seemed to be saying "Let me in, it's freezing out here!"

You found your creative jibe again my friend, and I love it too! You came back to the ole dependable front porch! I don't blame you, it's such a big inspirational place for you, if that's what you need to spark your imagination then do it! It's just way too cold for me on my front porch! It's 25 degrees out right now, burrrr! This is such a brilliant write Sara! I loved reading it this morning! Great Work!!
