A Day To Remember

I thirst for just a little sunshine
A wisp of warm air to stir me
I get another gray dreary day
Wind so cold it chills to the bone

I lift my hands up to the sky
Try to break through to the sun
I blow my breath into the wind
To warm it through and through

The end result I can now see
There isn't a thing I can do
This is the day God has sent
So I will enjoy the day I have
