A Broken Society:

Tick, tuck the clock is ticking,
Time wasting to much debating,
Cultures dividing people hating,
Nation crumbling Politician’s bawling.
Youths rampaging mothers crying,
Cash decreasing poverty rising,
Fathers departing children waiting,
Communities uniting parties deciding.

Quick fix job wanted education needed,
Discipline crucial apprenticeship essential,
Change necessary walls collapsing,
Growth dormant economy crying.

I am so thrilled by the poetry I am reading this morning. Looks like everyone has found a pipeline to inspiration. This is wonderful and I am so happy your poetry is right here in this mix Patricia. Thank you so much for sharing. Love, Carol

I hear you! Living in England is definitely hard in this day and age! I wrote a poem about the looting myself caller 'riot' if you'd like to have a look, I like the frequency in your poem, it's hard to find one's that flow but yours flows nicely x
