Oh Shucks

Have you heard of a duck that really can't cluck
Bet you're thinking a bad word that rhymes with duck
More sophisticated am I
An upstanding sweet guy
Now stop... my naughtiest phrase is “oh, shucks!”

Ah, Shucks

A Cowboy is lean, tall, muscled and an inarticulate mass
Of loyalty, independence, pride and downright Western class
He cocks his hat to the back of his head and lets loose an infectious grin
Testosterone overflowing he’s masculine from boot toe to hat brim
He mumbles “Ah, Shucks”, ducks his head and charms the ladies
He’s saddle born, ranch raised

I win you over before you know what’s happened.
Swallowing crucifies,
No one has flown this high.
I’m borrowing your own happiness.
Joy is oxygen, really.
Crown yourself the Queen of Peace.
This world is an oyster to be shucked.

Awe Shucks

Clam shucker yup that's me.
Ice cold or hot from the pot
will you take 6, 12, or 3 ?
Oysters, shrimp and crabs
complete the lot.
Fresh seafood in summer
hits the spot.
Island music is what 
I choose to play.
It makes the customers
come my way.
Toes tapping some dancing
while they wait.
To be shucked
the clam and oyster's fate.
