to where honour grows
uplifting time out of this mire
who is leading who are we ever never to know
gods prophets with promises and blessings easily given and easily taken
let us real men and women honest proud folk standing alone against a guessing fawning- cowardice such lies give fools best attempt at truth

Have you known some darker shades
Ever bitter vested in hand held grief
Like bolting of steed in fast uplands
Onslaught of undines in yelped streams.

Ancient roads kept in disturbed sleep
Under dripping afternoons of grey storm
There banishment of hope and despair
An adjustment in some vespered norm.

To make physical pain less lonely
A loneliness like sceptred face of time
A fresh start in some polluted airs
To purify festered strains of the mind....
