Key Verse – Ezekiel 28:26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.
FAITH IN GOD WHO SECURES US SAFELY
God secures us safely midst afflicting hardship
As we exercise diligent stewardship
With faith’s firmness upon His leadership
Toward joyful worship.
God secures us safely midst engulfing guilt-captivity
As we seek His forgiveness in our confession’s sincerity
With faith’s trust for His pardon’s authority
Toward blessed fellowship-security.
God secures us safely midst haunting frustration
As we overcome grief of failure’s lamentation
With faith’s dependence for His sanctification
Toward victorious devotion.
God secures us safely midst awaiting downfall
As we cleave to Him in our earnest call
With faith’s strength against anxiety-wall
Toward prayerful rising up, standing courageously tall.
God secures us safely midst devastating misery
As we serve Him continuously, overcoming worry
With faith’s reliance on His victory
Toward glad victory since we are saved from hell’s fury.
God secures us safely midst attacking foes
As we go on with good courage against woes
With faith’s steadfastness that divinely glows
Toward triumphant success overcoming Satan’s blows.
God secures us safely midst spoiling transgression-defilement
As we strive well righteously in our Christian commitment
With faith’s increase through His Word’s settlement
Toward praise-filled great commission fulfillment.
