FAITH IN GOD WHO DEALS WITH US
THROUGH HIS COMPASSION
God deals with us through His compassion despite our abominations
By His “Thus saith the Lord” assertions of Bible declarations
To move us for our sanctification against transgression-pollutions
For our faith’s humble confessions toward good work’s ctions.
God deals with us through His compassion despite our sinfulness
By His “I clothed thee” deed in our new-creation goodness
To adorn us with His ornaments of righteousness
For our faith’s holiness with transformation-productiveness.
God deals with us through His compassion despite our iniquities
By His “I have stretched out my hand over thee” certainties
To call us toward repentance against our impurities
For our faith’s security in overcoming infirmities.
God deals with us through His compassion despite our shame
By His “I will remember my covenant with thee” beyond worldly game
To check us and our motives as we accept our sin-caused blame
For our faith’s good testimony while His assurance we claim.
God deals with us through His compassion despite our jealousy
By His “I will recompense thy way” warning midst His mercy
To drive us to walk with Him according to Scriptural decency
For our faith’s strength against hypocrisy and greediness’ fervency.
God deals with us through His compassion despite our lack of wisdom
By His “I the LORD have spoken it” for our spiritual freedom
To teach us to depend on Him constantly in seeking His kingdom
For our faith’s effective performance always, and not seldom.
God deals with us through His compassion despite our low stature
By His “As I live” affirmation in blessing our servanthood gesture
To cheer us in continuing along fruitful stewardship-venture
For our faith’s growth and increase with His flourishing nurture.
