Dream 1: 4 Weeks In Positano
"Dream 1: 4 Weeks in Positano"

Kisses long linger warm lips tasted intense
so sweet like cured Valencia Oranges
lips liquored triple sec not dry drunk on love
softly grazed, then held long

slow, deep, warm and wet

The story is written on bodies
as they walk down the streets
that story written on secret smiles moments still carried
first light earlier on white...

Premium Member I Had An Alien For Two Weeks
I had an alien for two weeks before I realized how unusual she was.
I wish I could be a mouse in the corner, I had said, and I was.
My alien gave me a cracker, patted me on the head, and reminded me
Once again, how important it is to keep her earth-visit quiet from the masses.

I...

Premium Member Christmas Eight Weeks Away POTD
Stopping by early, soon it will be Christmas Day,

Shiny gifts, inviting bows, ‘neath the tree do lay,

Hot, mulled apple cider in red glass, deer mugs.

Magnificent family with endless, warm, love hugs!

Roast beef, just glowing with luscious juice.

Sad absence of cousins, Maggie and Bruce!

The peace and love that fills the pine scented room.

Wish all days, were...

Premium Member Smiles Throughout the Weeks
Ben and Cora Green had seven children, like calendar pages turning;
Each one born on a different weekday, like mango sun, forever burning.

Zoe was pretty, with big eyes and dimples, while Leah loved dancing,
Yet, Bill was sort of a pessimist; like when mystic trouble is glancing.

Edward had a zeal for jogging, while Ruth ran many errands...

Premium Member Weeks Revealed As Troglodytes
I woke up this morning
Tired as a wolf-hound
After the chase.
The day is as stark
As an unfinished concerto.

Mondays are like that,
They are the beginning--
An unwrapped gift.
The weekend is an abandoned beach
And dirty snow pushed aside.

A new and well-oiled axle is turning.
My wheels are turning.
It is a time for molding,
For casting lots across a Persian rug.
We gather...

Seven Weeks and Six Days
Week six.
There is a natural disaster occurring, tsunamis of
morning queasiness Monday through Friday, Tuesday's
lunch on my favorite pants, denial dances on the weekends.
It was Sunday. One word, two syllables causes a tornado
of emotions, hurricanes of tears hit my hands and pours to
the floor, my heart sinks and drowns. How many casualties...

Six Weeks To Spring
Brutal winds snap frozen branches,
no drowsy Tree Sparrows soak up sun rays;
I shiver wondering if they can survive...
somewhere huddled together to stay alive!

The Hudson River has the slowest flow in several years,
it struggles to reach the huge Atlantic Ocean that roars;
there all the boats are anchored while hungry seagulls
search the icy waves for a prey...

Six Weeks
What have you done to my life
When I think about it, it cuts like a knife
Don’t you have a heart
Or am I just not that smart
For six weeks I sold myself
Defiantly not on the shelf
Needles in my arms
As dangerous as firearms
Had to find a shower
I needed it for will power
A plate of food
If you are...

2 Weeks Notice
“2 weeks notice”

It’s the polite amount time to give before you move on,
Before you no longer have obligations to uphold with people you soon want to forget
But those are those people and I am me and unlike everyone else
I wonder
Why was I not worth it?
My supervisor always asks me do I have a lot on...

Six More Weeks
Six more weeks of winter for us
the groundhog says without a fuss
maybe his prediction will come true
but if it doesn't , what can we do

try to stay warm on the cold, cold days
that means more power we must pay
ice, and snow we have no control
just be careful, and drive slow...

It was only suppose to be for two weeks, that was the promise,
