The Beauty of Charkha the Spinning Wheel 1
The Beauty of Charkha the Spinning Wheel

The Poem is dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and his Charkha.

When first time I looked
At the Wooden Charkha*
With a child’s curiosity to know,
What it was?
I had seen it
Without caring and knowing much,
What actually the thing was?

For me in my childhood days,
It was then...

Part 3

The rapidly emerging new discoveries
Were influencing and enchanting
The ever thirsty mind and hearts
Of every adventure lover.

The entire Europe and the remaining world
Of that Era
Almost became crazy
After watching and witnessing
The new...

{spinning Wheel}
spinning wheel.
round, round.
hypnotizing.
never ending.
your mind bending.
spinning.
the wool turns to yarn.
from big to small.
transforming.
circles over circles
moving.
stand still.
spinning wheel.
simple minded.
complicated.
igneous.
calm the mind.
work the fingers.
smooth thread.
rough ramouillet.
round, round.
spinning wheel....

Spinning Wheel
The Spinning wheel is spinning
The thread of life
Is unraveling
Whipping in the wind
To the beat of the moon
Spinning spinning spinning
Making something new
With the life we have
Make of it what you choose
Hurry up but not to fast
When the thread runs out
What will you have
Will it be something you are proud of
Or will it unravel and deter...

Life-A Spinning Wheel
Yesterday it was
me in the dust-
while you in the
peanacle
 How u loughed
at me,
But today a
different story
 I choose not to
lough for i know
tommorow the
opposite might
be truth for me
 So i will pray
for your up-
comings-while i
fight to keep my
position...

Bad To Good Spinning Wheel.
Bad to Good Spinning Wheel

It's hard to explain on how I feel..
My life has been turning on this big wheel.
I have always tried to do my best.
Staying alive has been my great test.

The Monster has once tooken over my brain.
It brought me guilt it brought me pain.
It showed me power then gave me control.
I was...

Gretchen At the Spinning Wheel
(based on Franz Schubert)

wordless at this moment
virginal in a closed room
dark as a berry

Gretchen maid of wood
webbed as an old barn
eyes drops of glass

that seek a window
empty of steps, cast
ing a look at

all that brings no favour
or slowly turns the wheel that
darkly bares the thread;

the cloth of love forsaken;
heartpace of an empty view;
a sort of...

Premium Member As the Spinning Wheel Whirls
In it’s magnificent cloak of colors.
Hypnotizing me from my deck.
Reminding me, to trust in God!
That no matter what people think,
His created world, is not a wreck!

Children are born, people do work!
But news paints the world as “ugly.”
We forget there is one leader here.
Invisible, and whose laws to follow.
News, tells us, lies galore and false
truths...

Tragedy Is a Spinning Wheel
Tragedy is a spinning wheel
which stops at its own will,
and when it does an earthquake, flood or tsunami strikes
poisoning the pristine environment, wiping out endless lives....
such was the fate of unlucky Japan,
the island off the Asian mainland.

When destruction was everywhere and fear was deep,
people miserably wept searching for survivors through the debris and mud...
feeble voices...

Spinning Wheel
See the mouse run
on his wheel going nowhere
fast
Notice it doesn’t seem to bother
him at all or
does he not
notice
Every day he gets on the wheel
and runs and runs and
runs
And goes nowhere
	Is he aware of this?
Eat then run then rest
then run some more
Only to repeat it
again
every day
Neither monotony nor boredom
nor lack of progress seems to
bother this...

Multiple situations turn, on a spinning wheel
Faced one at a time so that I can feel
What I need to process, that others can’t confess
The wild winds blow fierce, as I stand my ground
Bearing with all the information I found
The wheel turns, as my mind does scan
Telling myself, I’m doing everything I can

Premium Member Re-shaped by Spinning Wheel Churning
Spinning to re-shape
on the lathe of misfortune
tools of memories
slice the old dead-wood away
shavings curling around feet

Round and round I go
ghostly hands remake my form
what I was, is gone
what I am, waits for pruning
severing grief from rough years

New clay on the wheel
trembling hands begin to mold
the shapeless mass pile
a new form slowly rises
shaped by daring, bold...

Premium Member Spinning The Word Wheel
For useful words, the word wheel I will spin.
I anxiously wait for which words I’ll win.
How many sentences will they complete?
Rhyming the end words will be quite a feat.

A noun or a verb, I commonly win,
While over and over I’ll spin and spin.
Adjectives, articles, pronouns for sure,
And other types to add to the allure.

Prepositions,...
