Winter Nature
Cold, like fire ants, within sweaters bite,
White and green and gold adorned is the site;
The cold breeze as though dipped in ice seas blows,
Sky and fog and cloud are on fashion shows...!
Cardinals, robins, and buntings are seen,
None know, for long, where the dear sun has been;
Tender leaves and blooms with icicles shine,
Twigs feed dew drops to the pale ivy vine...!
The mist tickles the skin and veins and bones,
Axe of cold cracks even hardest of stones;
Winter landscapes with blooms and blossoms charm,
Midst chill all seem surrounded by God's arm...!!!
