Woah wowww, this is one of the best haiku poems I've read in a while, there's such a clever twist in the third line, that's like a sharp poetic turn, gosh.. You've crafted this one so creatively dear Silent One..the thought of sun being jealous of those lil snowflakes is very profound and interesting in itself..Sigh, sun shouldn't just have come! It should have let those snowflakes dance a lil.. Haha..'Chalk blanket" I really like like that word-pairing..Such a lovely haiku, another FAV from you

Very cute indeed. It made me laugh. The way you write about the sun and snowmen are different than most of what we see. A different and refreshing view of the aftermath.

I guess its been a while since iv last read a haiku from you and i must say im truly impressed! Whose picture is that? I love that goes so well with your haiku.
