When Lips Meet
Its the anticipation
that hastens the pace of my beating heart.
Eyes locked sending a ray of emotions
stealing a glance into each others soul.
This tight embrace heightens our senses,
allowing for every touch to discover a new patch of virgin skin.
It exaggerates the sensation
as our muscles tighten and relax.
A slight tilt of the head brings you that much closer.
But its a game,
who will give in to temptation first-
and for the first time it may be worth it
to risk it all
and lose-yourself.
O! sweet, sweet defeat
it awakens every atom of your being,
unravels every thought
and gives you purpose.
A perfect union of chaos and clarity,
unparalleled to none.
