We Can Survive

As the days march steadily toward spring Warmer weather the forecast guarantees, Leaves are budding on the sycamore trees Morning breaks, the purple buntings sing. While Mother Nature hums herself alive Whispering breezes pass through the air Small, furry creatures forage without a care Proof again a harsh winter we can survive.

Hi Milton, as our planet begins Spring Milton where you live, we entered Autumn in ours, on the 1st March - we have a beautiful wild flower called cosmos, pink and white tall flowers cover huge expanses of land - quite beautiful to see which heralds the Autumn season. Lets see what winter has in store for us when it soon will come knocking on our door. Superb verse so well penned, my friend. Blessings, Hugs, Jennifer

We sure do thrive and survive - much better than we thought possible in the bleakness we call winter. Nice one.

Excellent lines Milt, it's fascinating to observe the blossoming flowers and vibrant trees, as well as the warmer air and wind.
