All day, I watch the news on televisions in every room,
the bedroom, living room, kitchen and my office;
I set them to local, Canadian, American and World news,
some like music in the background, I like the news.
Still, I have time for skies aflame with the setting sun,
at times I set the televisions to different stations;
so when walking through the house I get all news,
sometimes I set them to the same station and get delay.
Outside my window dappled sun and shade are dancing,
I noticed the lack of delay in the Presidential Debates;
how strange and odd- I have no answer as to why,
I like to be informed but I don't think most are like me.
Not to my extent, in fact, I also read a paper newspaper,
where I am lost in a sea of words and faces;
the media holds us slaves to what they deem worthy news,
secrets kept until the right moment by the government.
The drums of time roll while I listen to the news,
and I trust no station or internet because they lie;
I reserve my opinion of the unsynchronized synchronized,
words tell a story but I have suspicious tendencies.
