I've always thought only the best should have the honor of teaching another, it is a shame teachers don't get more respect (you have taught me many things!)

Two different skills; my economics professor was a genius, but the only way to pass his class was to go to the library and read his works because he was such a boring lecturer most of the class dozed off within minutes .....

So true about professors. Then again, old-time professors did not necessarily view themselves as teachers. I think that today they do. :) gw
