The Spheres Move In Their Orbits

The spheres move in their orbits and I,
who should know better, listen to their
Song. Crystal melodies whisper to my
Soul, singing me towards my doom, a
Siren Song of love. Ageless, eternal,
Love exists only in our imagination,
A conception, just as are the heavens
And the resonance of the orbs, that spin
Endlessly along the arcs of destiny.
I listen, and hear in the aether’s murmur
The notes of your voice, their cadences
Finding their ordained places in my mind.
And love blossoms, a phantom who bows
The strings of my emotions yet has no existence.
