The Mask, My Glasses and Me-Inseparable

I sport a mask, not to mention the fog Yesterday I tripped on a huge log Specks need; built-in wiper Didn’t see the sly viper To top it off, I conversed with a hog *I wear glasses, and wearing the mask my glasses fogs up when I breathe Alexis Y. 04/15/2021

Mine too Alexis, everyone has the same problem if they wear glasses - it is horrible, what can we do. Sometime if the mask is not cloth and a little starchy you can pinch them on your nose that does help, sorry you fell over a log, hope you are OK. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

You have done a great job in highlighting a common problem I knew nothing about! Please consider your eyes to be a part of your body that needs exercise to remain fit, i.e., sunlight, fresh air, with frequent changes from near-to-far views as well as blinking so you can reach your 80s without needing glasses! Aloha! Rico

Ooohoo! I feel your pain my friend, I too wear glasses and a mask. Half the time I can't see where I'm going. I wonder if the mask will either be revised or made optional if I get run over by a car. Good write. God Bless, JB

Gosh the fog! How do you survive it. I'm tiny so the mask is too big for my face, and every single hack failed! I can so relate to this!

Always put the glasses on the mask. The "fog" comes when the mask is below the rim of the glasses. Lovely limerick.

I can relate:-( I have tried rubbing a little washing up liquid on the lenses, it helps a bit, as does twisting the loops into a figure of 8 when you put the mask on - and make sure you pinch the metal strip at the top so it fits more snugly on your face - try it:-) hugs Jan xx

I'd say 'Cute,' but I'm sorry to hear that you fell. My glasses fog up too, but I'm only wearing my mask in the supermarket now, so I'm less foggy than before... 'Steer clear' now, Alexis! :) gw

Hi Gershon, I didn't trip, but my glasses really do become fogged-up, when I put on the mask to go outside. I appreciate your continued support:-)Alexis

There is a cleaner you can get that will help them not to fog up but I can't for the life of me remember what it is called. Enjoyed reading your work. We all need a little humor in our lives. Sara

Hi Sara, I could really use of it, because I can't see a thing. I have to remove my glasses to see somewhat lol! I agree we can most definitely use a some humor. I appreciate your support. Have a great day:-)Alexis

The masks are bad enough but I really hate the fog. Very relatable limerick. John
