The Billies In Three - a Family Tree
In a place that still gives me the willies
were some wild men, and they were all “Billies.”
Since they lived on a hill
that was nearby a rill,
they were known simply as the “Hill” Billies.
The Hill Billies’ sons had the aim
of sparing their fathers from shame.
When their fathers were bad,
each would stand by his dad,
so “By” Billy was each son’s name.
Now THEIR sons, who moved to a plain
away from the hill, were insane.
Called “Blow” Billies, they
did nothing all day
except get doped up on cocaine!
