Subzero Lazeretto
Like an unwanted infection that has crept in The chaotic emotions, running in circles, jumping, shooting through the broken hearted mind Following the pooling showers of tears unable to cry in more, this hurt beyond rejection Isolated beyond the wall of resentment It’s like dry ice smoldering, after the self-treatment of a long drunken stupor fades Colder than the winters naked concrete, burning the mind, boiling over with self-loathing Your only blanket is the should haves, could haves and ifs But now even those songs are gone Only vacant stairs in the mirror of malcontent remain If one is a lonely place to be, try zero minus four times a loser Friendless in the world and a enemy of yourself NOTE- There is hope and a friend you may not know yet the Lord Jesus Christ.
