Self-Existent Light

“We bear disparate lights. Faith and persistence fuel its glow.”
                 Quote by _ Poet

There's a glow in our chamber,
There’s a lamp in us,
Its light tunnels through our midnight,
Faith and persistence fuel its shine.

The light we carry,
Tarries in our slumber,
It halos our passion,
Brightening the hidden places.

Unseen by us is this existent light,
Seen by others is its reflection,
Unknown to us is its strength,
Our sojourn reveals the unknown.

This light wanes,
As our hands grow feeble,
The light transcends,
As we ease into the night.
