Kundalini Rising

Keeping my faith when all is at stake
Unleashing the ego that I did not make
Nights full of questions lead me to my destiny
Devoting myself to loving me
Archangel Gabriel, please carry me safely on my journey 
Love will drive my intentions bestowing mercy upon me 
Ignite the passion within and letting go of fear
Now my love will embrace all lonely tears
Idle times I do not keep near

Reach into my divinity 
Intuition holds the key to eternity
Settled are my thoughts
Idealism leads my pride
Now's the time to believe all that’s wild
Growing in love with my inner child

I see what you mean now, my experience was definitely spontaneous and to ground myself I asked which religion has it almost right. Through research there were serveral practices that resignated and guided me on my journey. But that makes no difference for those who decide to practice first and awaken later. It's because their centers were aligned, not because they chose to study a specific practice. How you believe one should experience their journey is an opinion yes?
