Recognized Her Instantly

recognized her instantly
from his dream work
she had no idea

pursued her until she could stand no more
she dumped him hard as coal goes down a chute

did not find each other for twelve years
she had her own soul dreams by now
they burned the sky up

Caren, I can hardly wait to see what you've got simmering in the pot for 2021. But for now know I like you a lot. For my Yuletide blessing; A Merry Christmas wish and sweet sugar-plum faerie dreams. -Richard

I agree with Rob. Burned the sky up is such a GREAT line in this pithy poem! wish I could read more but Joe is on way home and dinner not even cooked. Merry Xmas, dear.
