Re-Call

Yes, I did all that and more. I was the head of a stampede, I became the horns. No, she over-exaggerates, she killed me before I killed her. The world was too small for my parade, I had to hire more horses and clowns. I was an astronaut without a spacesuit, just an umbilical noose, until starlight ate through it. Yes I saw it all, all the other witnesses were old flames in fireproof dreams. I have never had much guilt, I have preferred to travel with the dangerous. That long goodnight will not find me weeping.
