My Heart Wept For Her

Many years ago my dear mother left me and went to be with Jesus. My heart wept for her, that sad day in June, my life was not the same anymore. As anyone who has ever lost someone close to them knows the feeling. Mother was the comfort of my heart everyday of my life. She taught me about God and how to love everyone. She told me to never lie, telling the truth was always the best thing to do. To treat others fair and kind, to always say thank you and please. She taught me to put others first and my self last. Mother taught me all of these things, by doing them her self. Mother I have not always done those things, but I know that I should do them. Loving you always waiting till that day when I will put my arms around your and say thank you my loving dear mother. wrote 9-2-08

thank your real comment on my poem, you are right about some not letting christ guide our hearts. I believe most of us are afraid of complete change. most of us let the world discourage us.

This is aglowing tribute to your mother James. When a man loves his mother like you did he is agret human beiing and man. We need more people like you, "special." I lost my mother in 2000. She was a very cretive and kind human being. I know she is my guardian angel.

you don't miss your water till it's gone. a prophet is rarely accepted in it's own home. and you can't hear your mother untill she's gone. jhl

You know James I watched my mother drown in the Kern River when I was four - This poem reminds me more of my grandmother who raised me after that - Your really quite the kind man I hope to someday be - I try real hard - My whole life was violence - In and out of Prison - I can attest to how important Prison Ministry truly is though when I found the Lord I was in the S.H.U. Single cell lock down - Nobody in there but the Lord and I - God Bless you James I'll catch up on the comments soon -

My Mother left right before Christmas 1995. It does leave a void. God Bless, James. Vince
