I am glad too but sad for those who did and lost so much. Even our word-works would not sustain us enough to cope personally with this nature's ill-fated act---the survivors are left invaded for life....and need to rebuild a 'safe place' within and around their soiled souls! Thank you so much for the very kind comment and reply. Congratulations on your poems that are truly birthed as 'magnificent' by your word-worked abilities. So vast are your accomplishments! Outstanding pen! I must admit, I felt as though you were shining light on a very sad subject. That is only a personal opinion though. Regardless, excellent poem! A definite 7!

con't... I think I accomplished this in its entirety and approach. I am glad always to hear from those who read. Nursery rhyme was the mode of yesteryear used to talk and tell of timely disasters.

Children were used as newspapers to put the word out---double meanings were intended; as in tongue in cheek! Thank you so much for reading ,commenting and awarding the very high mark. It truly is a surprise and highly appreciated!

It was so, and at that time tragic and we, l was caught off guard, you could say, for this world-wide terrible 'experience; which we all felt deeply about'--- Katrina; and not to make light of such a disaster and I meant no disrespect...it was told' with tongue in cheek mode! I felt too many cold words were used already and not to make too much said about 'the blood and gore' she caused; sensationally speaking, I didn't want to seem as cold! I hope this explains the true intent to my poem's versed approach. cont...in next post!
