Is There Anybody In There

Done has finished finished
Dead lives reflected in the eyes
from deadlight screens
Pull i n g words apart
trying to find some heart
Living in this skeletal prison
Remembered in the slightest times
forgotten in the memories
please do not read this
for i can't hide
the nothing that resides inside

An intense, biting commentary on the current political landscape, this poem weaves together sharp, vivid imagery and a complex critique of power dynamics, societal issues, and the state of democracy. The language, both raw and charged, captures the chaos and turbulence of modern politics, while the tone balances between irony and frustration. It’s a masterful use of language that challenges the reader to confront uncomfortable truths, all while reflecting the deeply fragmented state of public discourse.

Such a raw and haunting exploration of inner emptiness. The way the words pull apart and reflect the struggle of finding meaning amidst a cold, disconnected world is deeply moving. It's a powerful reminder of the quiet battles many face, and how sometimes, the silence inside can speak louder than anything else.
