Ideas that seem to be    Dangerous to others,
Ideas that seem to be    Erroneous to others,
Ideas that seem to be    Frightening to others.

Ideas that seem to be    Great to others,
Ideas that seem to be    Harmless to others,
Ideas that seem to be    Illogical to others.

Ideas that seem to be     Joyful to others
Ideas that seem to be     Knowledgeable to others,
Ideas that seem to be     Loveable to others.

Ideas that seem to be      Manageable to others,
Ideas that seem to be      Nonsense to others,
Ideas that seem to be      Opulent to others.
 
ideas that seem to be       Perfect to others,
Ideas that seem to be       Quaint to others,
Ideas that seem to be       Relevant to others.

Ideas that seem to be       Silly to others,
Ideas that seem to be       Thoughtful to others,
Ideas that seem to be        Unworkable to others.

Ideas that seem to be        Vulgar to others,
Ideas that seem to be        Wonderous to others,
Ideas that seem to be         X-rated to others.

Ideas that seem to be         Young to others,
Ideas that seem to be         Zippy to others.

Ideas that seem to be         Never put to use for good or bad by most.

Should be easy to move ideas forward in todays world but you can wait forever for someone to get back to you over the simplest of issues. And that is when your request is actually passed on to the person who was supposed to get it. Wherever possible I ring the person concerned to let them know to expect an email or text. Ideas are only the spark. It takes action to turn them into creations. And who cares what others think? Most people aren't creative thinkers, or they don't allow their creativity to surface, which is a shame. It's only a few whose ideas end up coming to light, the brave few! Thoughtful piece, I like it.

You are right Katharine. It is a shame but sometimes if we give positive feedback it helps those who would normally not act. Years ago we ad a friend who came up with a novel idea for cooking kebabs on the barbecue. I told him I had not seen anything quite like it and he should patent it. A couple of months later he came back to me and said he was taking out a limited patent for a few countries. He showed me all the stuff. I lost track when he went to live in Philippines with his wife. You just never know what a little encouragement will do. Glad you liked the poem. Best regards David in NZ

I was exploring the fact that we all have a number of ideas, some good, some bad but so many of our ideas don't become anything more as it takes a lot of hard work and sleepless nights to put them to practical use. I know too often I have been guided by what others might think and not done anything about them. Thanks again for your gracious comments. Regards David
