I Want To Be Christian But Not By Man's Standards-
I'm unemployed
Cause finding joy is a job.
I'm not a politician.
Why? cause I want to be truthful and won't lie
I want to be Christian
But not by humanity standards
But as God has planted.
I'm impoverished
Because I've got a mortgage
Ridden poor yet not keeping up with the Jones
I'm not a basketball player.
Yet I'm on the rebound.
I want to be Christian
But not by humanity standards
But as God has sanctioned.
I'm birth from a woman
She was my mother
I was born to sin and in full of trouble.
This world is my house
But it's not my home
I'm by myself but not alone.
I am Christian
But not by humanity standards
But as God has granted.
And in His vision
Perfect submission
And I shall be no longer spiritually challenged.
I want to be Christian
But not by humanity standards
But as God has sanctions
For you see to be Christian, is not to be human-like
for to be Christian is to be
Christ-like
