“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” John 14:1 of the King James Bible
In a reunion where believers of God testify
my heart rejoices as Christ they magnify
expressing how trust in the Lord He does fortify
as their faith through their good works they exemplify…
Bro. Adam am I ---
I believe in God, the Source of wondrous grace
I’m His child, loved by Him, asserted by His Word’s brace
by His strength to run along Christian race
enabling me to do His will, striving to please Him by faith always.
Call me Brother Abraham ---
I believe in God Who calls me for ministry involvement
I’m His steward, granted by His inheritance of rich bestowment
by His gifts and abilities toward productive fulfillment
propelling me to serve Him through our church-covenant engagement.
This is Sister Eve ---
I believe in God Who grants marvelous blessing
I’m His redeemed endowed with heavenly wealth I’m now possessing
by His eternal riches as channels for progressing
encouraging me to give cheerfully; and for His work, advancing.
I’m Brother Paul ---
I believe in God Who is the Author of the Scriptures
I’m His student, exhorted to follow His authority toward faith-ventures
by His voice and direction against losses from worldly forfeitures
helping me build lives through His empowering gestures.
Sister Sarah; that’s me ---
I believe in God Who upholds me steadfastly
I’m His own, drawn to Him in sweet fellowship intimately
by His approval for holy walk while seeking His wisdom constantly
constraining me to render my utmost to Him willingly.
My name is Mary ---
I believe in God Who justified me through Christ’s righteousness
I’m His daughter, washed by His blood, cleansed from sins’ filthiness
by His sanctification purging my carnality and selfishness
moving me to surrender my pride toward gracious meekness.
I’m Mark, Sis. Mary’s brother ---
I believe in God Who commands me to bear the Gospel light
I’m His convert, transformed by the Holy Spirit’s might
by His direction to win against doubts and fears’ fight
guiding me to win souls and enjoy discipleship delight.
Oh, in such gathering where God, believers glorify
we bow in adoration as with submission we signify
our thanksgiving bliss and jubilant praises that intensify
earnest delight for His presence as His people He does purify.
