I Am Is Just the Beginning
Yesterday’s dream will soon be reduced, to only a memory of our past existences
Just as a rainbow-drawn after a storm can only tell the story of a love-note burning into ashes
Crashes from the eyelashes of a dreamer and click! Click! Here come the flashes
No cameras around but riveting caches… of thoughts, and all brain; clicking as if connecting the dots
It makes sense sometimes when life starts to feel like a game but a game that’s never the same
Constantly shifting and changing to different things; like actually trying to tie its theory to a string
It will never stop because it cannot be stopped like gravity re-opting to a drop
Dribble, dribble, shoot and blocked; there’s no other way or no other how, so locked
But chill a moment, relax; you can choo! Choo! Happily like a train if you cuddle your tracks
It’s not rocket science but merely choosing an alliance to a fleetingly compliance
Besides it is just a dream, a dream is not truly true, unless … you are dreaming from a shoe
Then you can take the leap; gather the faith you’ve heard from the Shepherd to His sheep
And by noon time, tomorrow, you’ll wake up and life will be exactly like a dream
The choice is yours and yours alone… Hey! You can even call it, Carpe Diem!
Wink! Wink! See what I did there? No harm no fouls, because life is not really a game
It is a flame; that proclaims our God given gift; enflaming the dream of who we truly are
I am … is just the beginning
