Heaven My New Home

Today I took a tour with Saint Peter to see what I could see. A new home was what I wanted for me. I wanted to see if the streets were really paved with gold, or was that just a story I have been told. Oh my, I see the streets are really paved with gold. As we walked down the streets paved with gold, we saw many huge beautiful mansions lining the streets. I wanted this one so we walked inside. I found each room to be huge and more beautiful than the last. The colors were vivid and to my liking. The dining room had a table draped in fine lace, covered with all of my favorite foods. Can we eat, I asked? Saint Peter said, when you are a resident. After the tour we went back outside. We could see the many different birds all around, they were singing along with the angels. The fluffy clouds looked just like cotton candy. A small cloud fell at my feet. I picked it up and it tasted just like cotton candy, oh so sweet. Saint Peter took me back to the pearly gates, he said, now go back home my dear it is not your time. I begged and begged to stay, how could I leave Heaven My New Home?
