Heartfelt Song

To me
Tell me this
What's in your heart
That my heart might learn
What song of love to bring
To close the distance and bind
Our hungry hearts in unison
To forever sing their heartfelt song
The melody flowing as life moves on.

Hon, you write very well in this rather rare form. I especially love the lines "What's in your heart that my heart might learn?" It is coming to understand each others feelings that can help bridge that distance. I love it and it's a fave for me. Hugs, carolyn
