Goodbye Summer Hello Winter

Goodbye Summer Hello Winter

The beach is quiet and sad

Its waves are mellow and make no sound

The Summer heat is gloomy

And turns cold

It cries and rain pours out

Ice cream melts and becomes part of the lost season

It dies

Goodbye Summer

Umbrellas are up and people are outside walking

They do not mourn for Summer’s death

But are happy

Kids play in the snow

While parents shop for Christmas

Hello Winter goodbye Summer

This is so true. We shop for summer, bask in the sun and then pick up the Christmas spirit and "They do not mourn the summer,s death" like you said. I pictured the image in every line. Nice work as always! By the way, thank you for your comment on Wild Stallion, I really tried to create that image. Thank you. From Rainbow Promise.
