Gentle leaves, breathing soft prayers, Praising the One who silences the seas, Sends peace through the flow of winds, Gentle leaves, in hues of hopeful, delicate Gold, mahogany, tangerine – crisp beauties, Stories beneath the laughing gatherings, Gentle leaves, pouring out their delicious, Anthologies of stories, blessed by dreams, Silencing the night, with all its dreadful grief, Gentle leaves, singing through the oaks, Leaving melodies, rich songs in rhythms, Pulsing through the lasting impressions, Gentle leaves, blessing away the anxieties, Raining down healing, hope, happiness, Through stanzas of shadowy braveries, Gentle leaves, in feathery designs, hesitant, Like the last days before the summer ends, With a harmony more potent than the fire’s crackling, Gentle leaves, in visions of giggling petals, bleeding, Listening to the presence of a favored rose, silent, Blowing in the delicate graces of endless gusts, Gentle leaves, blustery sights of heaven’s healing, Embracing the fallen, kissing away the shadows, Stirring hearts to feel what it real, the satisfaction, Gentle leaves, broken limbs providing sentiments, Poured out on a world of tempting creativities, Fantasy folding its arms to recall the sensitivity, Gentle leaves, arriving just before the snowflakes, Warming the heart with cashmere reconciling, Forming moments meant for the remarkable, Gentle leaves, stolen away by the wings of a prayer, Erasing the stories of shattered feelings, winsome Heartaches, stilling away from the glistening skies, Gentle leaves, in trembling stirrings, grief filled, Murmuring hope through the lasting twilight, Hurrying to remember the sunlight’s hurting, Gentle leaves, warming the spirit with their uplifting, Dream through the moments when stars glisten quietly, Blessing the ones who see through the skies, beautiful, Gentle leaves, abiding where the heart can see, Melancholic fluttering, silence in the wind’s breath, Comforting spirits, blowing warmth through souls, Gentle leaves, glowing like the surreal – fanciful, Needful things, overburdened with tranquility, Leaving rays of hope, aspiring to please, to free, Gentle leaves, alive like the mumblings of trees, Who see, in autumn, a presence of the grace, We believe, even before the wonder of gentle leaves… Fall through the country, winsome and uninhibited, Never burdened by the noise of wind’s blowing, Always flowing with a sense of God’s glory, Poured out on the spirit, as gentle leaves – leave the trees, Rushing to meet the earth’s purpose for peaceful that sees… We’ll forever be risking our hearts, wafting in the gentle leaves.
