Ex-Wrestling Champ

Boulder shoulders,
bursting biceps,
terrifying to see,

    a menacing mountain
    of a muscle-man
    he used to be.

Now, bedridden,
he wilts away his days
till the end arrives.

    This nursing home's
    locked doors hide
    closing and closed lives.
