Ebb Tide To High Tide

To explore love's shores from the soul's ebb tide And embrace its vastness a kiss reveals In rising waters as the heart decides Lovers wash ashore and nothings concealed Love finds paradise when the heart is clear And swims in oceans that stretch to the sky Leaving worlds far away, nothing to hear Only the calm rolling waves as they sigh To feel Love's breath for the very first time And enjoy its sunlight warming the flesh Searching the horizon as if to find The moment love was born and is confessed The space between hearts can not be measured The words spoken by love is most treasured

Was a song called Ebb Tide. There is also a slack tide. Tide always represented the Tidewater area of Norfolk where I once lived.
