Blinded By the Illusion

The multinational interview was easy and simple, Even the unskilled and skilled passed, including the married and single. Yet, he was denied. At home and heartbroken, he sobs in agony, Life was just hard like a Mahogany, His poor thought creased into a winkle. A gunshot thundered, The sick mother shivered and wondered, Bloodthirsty men were in the neighborhood, Poverty stricken, they came to loot, kill, or destroy but that's not good, In fear, he paused and pondered. Few days later, seated on a bench in front of the house, A Venza and G-wagon SUV throttled slowly across him like a mouse, They were the big fishes riding their expensive cars, Perhaps, old school mates surfing with the laptops and shinning like super stars, Shame covered him like an oversized blouse. He wants to break the jinx of poverty, But could making money be part of vanity? In weeks, he was shown the way, Where and how he can defraud people to pay, He wants to be rich and own a property. In the shrine, his soul was sold to the devil and after the sunrise, The witch doctor made the blood rituals for him to rise, Mother was meant not to benefit from the riches and that was at 27 years, And at 30, the wealth boomed, gospel came but he blocked his ears, His poor mother continued to suffer pennilessness and brise. Like a swinging hand of the pendulum, Time for the second sacrifice came and calls for his girlfriend's cerebellum, Suddenly, she traveled abroad for a business, Failure to get her, ushers in death and craziness, Traces of the girl was lost and that was the beginning of his pandemonium. Finally, the idea was to be in a new level, But it introduced a new devil. Just before me, he kicked the bucket, With no penny in his pocket. Silence! No tears! Doom ate him up like a weevil.
