And I keep writing

I feel the weight of tears and keep writing, An odd word endears, and I keep writing. In life there’s pain, there too is emptiness, Yet, as love pours from spheres, I keep writing. My heart gasps what with world-wide atmospheres, Words whisper in ears, and I keep writing. Proof of God there’s in temples nor in mosques, Seeing souls as true seers, I keep writing. On finding me caught in crowded moments, When heart with some choice cheers, I keep writing. It often so happens, my pen gets dry, When mind fluid appears, I start writing. Muse comes and goes, mood too in changing world, In whatsoever gears, I keep writing. _________________________________________ Ghazal |14.06.2024| poet, writing
