An Indefinite Pause
my world took a nosedive with your words
there is an indefinite pause now
all i hear is air and movement in the blackness
since the catastrophe of your complex sentences,
i constructed a cage made of icy tears
i created keys that can only be used once
i put myself in said cage and placed the keys in the furthest corner
my eyes focus on said keys
it is then that i imagine you walking back through the door painted blue and blood red
i never count down the days
i never count down the nights
i simply treasure the many memories that we etched in infinity
only you can free me from my self made imprisonment
until that time comes, i will continue pray that special, particular ascension
