by Constance La Fance

A goal to pick between numberless needs. To choose only one that I might fulfill. So often problems that were only seeds, left alone grow into a weed-strewn hill, and solving will take an unending will Forgiving is often the task of two. However, sometimes there is only one. That makes it more difficult to embue a gentleness in the bright morning sun, kindness as night's stars exit, one by one. But, I know that words can carry wonder, and, in 'I forgive'' magic just may hide. Because a friendship that falls asunder is sadness one should no longer abide Words can express more than only one side.

"Forgiving is often the task of two. However, sometimes there is only one." Forgiveness, indeed, is a noble virtue. The poem is written very powerfully. Congratulations!

Thank you, Christuraj! Forgiveness is indeed noble. Perhaps fewer wars and anger.

Thanks, Andrea. To be able to forgive is beautiful. I think. I'm going to give it a try :).

As I've got older I try and put differences aside and try and be the better person, we're all guilty of being stubborn at times but as the saying goes, life is too short. Happy New year to you Ann. Tom

Thank you for your comments, Tom. I try to do that, too, but this one has been a stumbling block. and lasted far too long.
