-adult-

Daily Poetry #31, February 28, 2017 Word: Adult I never realized that life would be so difficult, but somehow, I managed to make it through and still live on. Is that what makes me an adult? Or am I still the child you once knew? Like that baby you held in your arms once, I am still here, marking my name in time. While it may be difficult to live, I smile at the path I’ve walked. While roads intersect without logic to them, “Hello!” I see age doesn't define adults, learning from mistakes does.
